Mr. Ward focuses on the practice areas of environmental law, land use, zoning, and real estate development. He regularly advises clients on environmental due diligence, contractual allocation of environmental liability, regulatory compliance, brownfield redevelopment, and strategies for obtaining regulatory agency approvals.
Mr. Ward boasts a familiarity with the land use development process and its related municipal and environmental laws. Prior to joining the firm, he attended Pace Law School under a full merit scholarship where he obtained his Juris Doctor with a concentration in Land Use and Real Estate Law from Pace’s top-ranked environmental law program. He continued his studies at Pace Law School by obtaining a Master of Laws degree in Environmental Law with a specialization in land use law. During law school, Mr. Ward interned for municipal planning departments, land use law firms, and held a fellowship position at the Land Use Law Center. He also participated in Pace’s Environmental Litigation Clinic, which assists environmental and citizen groups in environmental and land use matters and litigation.
